Who we are

We are the BM4U s.r.o. team, Company ID No.: 09262491, maintained by the Municipal Court in Prague under File No. C 333464, represented by Ing. Stiva Jokeš, Managing Director.

We hold the position of controller in relation to your personal data: we determine how, for what purpose and for what period your personal data will be processed. We also select other processors, if necessary, to helps us with the processing of your personal data.

What personal data do we process and why?

We process the personal data that you have entrusted to us, specifically for the following purposes:

Provision of services, performance of contracts, organisation of webinars, training

  • name and surname
  • e-mail address
  • telephone number
  • postal address (permanent residence, self-employed person’s registered office, correspondence address)
  • invoicing data (name of company, Company ID No., Tax ID No., bank account numbers)
  • or other data depending on the provided service

We need your personal address data and invoicing data as necessary for the purpose of contract performance.

Your e-mail address is needed so that we can create and provide you with access to the application and web interface. If you register for any of our broadcast webinars, we will also need your e-mail address for the purpose of organising the given webinar.

We retain your personal data for the duration of the statute of limitations, unless the law provides for a longer retention period, or we have stated otherwise in specific instances.

Photographs and video recordings from seminars

At some of our live events, trainings and seminars, we take photographic or video documentation or video recordings. Photographs are used in promotional materials, mainly on the website or LinkedIn. Video recordings are used by online course participants for viewing. The names of participants are never given in such materials, except for cases of reference, based on your consent. If you would prefer not to appear in the recordings, let us know before the live event is held using our contact data.

We retain your personal data for the duration of the statute of limitations, unless the law provides for a longer retention period, or we have stated otherwise in specific instances.

Transfer of personal data to third parties

Your personal data can be accessed by our employees and colleagues who are bound by the duty of non-disclosure and are trained in the security of personal data processing. We all pull on the same rope and care for your data as if it were our own.

We manage most of the processing operations within our corporate system.

For partial processing operations that we are unable to handle using our own devices, we avail of services and applications of GDPR-compliant processors who specialise in the concerned processing.

All involved processors are obliged to protect your personal data to the same extent as we are and have committed to do so by declaration or contract.

These processors particularly include suppliers in the areas of: server infrastructure, security and accounting.

We may decide to use other applications or processors in the future to facilitate and improve processing operations. However, we promise that in such case we will at least place the same demands on the processors in terms of the security and quality of processing as we place on ourselves.

Transfer of data outside the EU

Data is processed by us exclusively in the European Union or in the countries that provide an adequate level of protection based on decisions of the European Union.

Your rights

You have a number of rights in connection with personal data protection. If you wish to exercise any of these rights, please contact us at the info@bm4u.cz e-mail address.

  • Right to information.
    This right is performed by the present information website, introducing the Privacy Policy. Thanks to the right of access, you can ask us at any time, and within 30 days, to document the personal data we process about you and why.
  • Right to data restriction

You can use the right to restrict data processing if you feel that your processed data is inaccurate. You may believe that we process your personal data unlawfully, but you do not want to have all the data deleted, or if you have raised an objection to the processing. You can restrict the scope or the processing purposes of tour personal data.

  • Right to object.
    If you believe that your personal data is processed unlawfully by us.
  • Right to portability.
    If you wish to take your personal data and transfer the same to another party, we will proceed in the same manner as for exercising the right of access, except that we will supply the information to you in a machine-readable form, for which we need at least 30 days.
  • Right to erasure (right to be forgotten)
    You also have a right to erasure (right to be forgotten). We do not want to forget you, but if you wish so, you can exercise this right. In such case, we will erase all your personal data from our system as well as from the systems of all sub-processors and backups. In some cases, as bound by legal obligations, we have to, e.g., keep tax documents for statutory periods. Should this be the case, we will erase all personal data that is not subject to other legislation. We will inform you by e-mail that your personal data has been deleted.
  • Complaint to the Office for Personal Data Protection
    If you believe that we do not handle your data in compliance with the law, you have a right to lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection at any time. We would appreciate it if you first inform us of this suspicion to enable us to do something about the issue and rectify the situation as necessary.
  • Unsubscribing from commercial communication

You can unsubscribe from receiving commercial communications, inspiration e-mails, e-mails with articles or products and services sent to you by us if you are our customer, or if you have been provided education services by us, based on your legitimate interest by e-mail sent to our e-mail address.

  • Confidentiality
    Please be assured that our employees and colleagues who will process your personal data are obliged to maintain confidentiality as to your personal data and security measures, whereas the disclosure of which might jeopardise the security of your personal data.

Cookies, IP and other online identifiers

When you browse our website, we record your IP address and the duration of your stay on the website. For these purposes, we use cookies, the processing of which falls within personal data protection.

We use cookies for the following purposes:

    • website operability,
    • website traffic measurement and statistics generation in relation to the traffic and behaviour of visitors to the website,
    • targeted advertisements to ensure that you are not bothered by posts you have no interest in.

    We perceive the use of cookies for website traffic analysis and website display customisation as the controller’s legitimate interest as we believe we are able to offer you improved services in such way. The website can also be used in a mode that prohibits the collection of data about the web visitors’ behaviour – this mode can either be selected within the browser settings, or you can object to such collection on the basis of the controller’s legitimate interest as per Article 21 of the Regulation, specifically by sending a notice of objection to the info@bm4u.cz contact address. Your objection will be considered without any undue delay, but no later than within 30 days of receipt. Cookies necessary for the website operation will only be stored for the time necessary for the functioning of the website. If you raise an objection to the processing of technical cookies necessary for the operation of the website, the full functionality and compatibility of the website cannot be guaranteed in such case. Cookies collected for the purpose of measuring the website traffic and website visitors’ behaviour are assessed in a bulk and pseudonymised form that only enables the identification of an individual with considerable and professional effort.

    Cookies for targeted advertisements will be processed on the basis of your consent. Our website can also be browsed in a mode that prohibits the collection of personal data. You can disable the use of cookies on your computer.

Consent via browser settings

The user determines whether the browser should enable the given website to store cookies on the end device in the browser settings settings of their PC. These settings may be understood as consent to personal data processing. The browser constitutes a tool for mediating consent. However, the consent cannot compensate for other shortcomings or unlawfulness of personal data processing.

Consent accomplishes the defined elements of consent as per Article 4(11) of the GDPR: it is free, specific, informed and unambiguous. Consent is interpreted in relation to the purpose, means and manner of personal data processing, not in relation to any given product or web application.
